13 August 2002: buckaroo crunk: hella random unicorn.

eggstone2000: arrow bar, nigga!
deliswiss: when?
eggstone2000: now. i am going NOW.
deliswiss: WTF? why? for what?
eggstone2000: 'cause.
deliswiss: what's going on?
eggstone2000: i am fuckin' BORED. and i guess something is happening.

it's too easy for me and my partner in crime (or "main man," in some other dialects) to say "such & such place, such & such time, let's do that," and then it just happens without us having to make complicated plans or agree on much. and if we get to where we're going and other friends happen to be there, we'll hang with them. it's so tempting to ignore other friends that would require a bit more effort to spend time with. maybe i should wrrrk on maintaining a few more close friendships in SF. and i need to stop ignoring my sacramento friends, who are really sweet, too. in case things are ever not like this, and i can't always rely on the same person to say "yes" before i've even finished asking.

the music at mutant was good, but there were like 10 people there, and zero people dancing. lpk and jon were there. why wouldn't lpk be there? she is the #1 mutant in hip-hop. after a few songs, sarah and i danced, then lpk danced with us. i told her about how she'd gotten famous enough that someone once came up to me and tried to make me doubt my sanity by saying "do you know lpk? that's her over there" and then spent a half hour trying to convince me that somebody that looked nothing like lpk was lpk... i refrained from going over and saying "this guy thinks you're lpk and i know you're not," which would've been embarrassing to everyone involved. lpk found this story very amusing.

at 2am sarah whipped out her cellphone and outlined a plan for the rest of our night & morning in about 5 or 6 words. "yeah, good idea." amazingly, it didn't involve going to a diner. also, we called organ donor and threatened to come visit him in l.a. next month.

...in bed.
